Yes, the containers are reusable. In an effort to preserve our planet for future generations, we will accept containers that have the labels removed and are washed prior to returning. You can place the empty containers outside your front door, and we’ll pick them up on your next delivery. We will inspect, wash and sanitize them if they meet our quality standards for possible reuse.

Currently, we only offer delivery, but we are working on partnerships to allow for order-pickup locations in the Dallas area.

No. We strongly suggest that if you do not subscribe to the cooler bag program, you do provide a cooler on your porch, with ice packs, large enough for our SBK driver to place your entire order. Please contact a member of our team at info@sugarbeetkitchen.com regarding any delivery questions.

For A la Carte items (carbs, proteins, vegetables) – Portion how much you want in a separate container

For microwave: on Medium High for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

Meals: Lift the corner container lid and microwave on Medium High for 2.5 – 3.5  minutes or until heated through.

For Oven : Preheat the oven to 350° F.

Transfer to oven-safe dish; 17-25 minutes at 350°F Keep in mind heating times are approximate so make sure the internal meal temperature is 165 degrees.

If you  prefer to heat your food in a skillet,  we recommend to heat it up slowly making sure the internal meal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

If you decide to place meals in the freezer, we would recommend letting them thaw overnight in the refrigerator before heating. The next day follow the above heating instructions.

Your food can be kept up to 5 days in the refrigerator. For optimal freshness, we recommend 3-4 days. You can freeze the food within this time to extend its shelf life. If you choose to freeze anything, we recommend letting your food thaw in your refrigerator overnight, consuming the following day after reheating to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F.

There is no minimum order amount or subscription required. The cooler bag program is an optional annual subscription for SBK to deliver your food in a cooler bag with ice packs.

Upon receiving your delivery, refrigerate all your meals and food as soon as possible. Our meals and foods can be frozen; however, we recommend eating them fresh within 3-4 days for the best quality.
